Lumen was founded in 2005 by a group of New York business leaders, some lay members of Regnum Christi and Legionary of Christ priests. Together, they responded to a critical need for faith based formation for today's business leaders. The Atlanta Lumen chapter was the second one started, soon after New York City. Lumen today has expanded into chapters located throughout major cities in the US and continues to grow.
The Lumen Institute (Latin for “light”) is an international Catholic organization that is dedicated to providing leaders with highly personalized formation in its core values of character, faith and leadership to transform business, family and community life with the light of the Gospel.
Investing time in Lumen is one of the wisest things you can do. The returns begin with helping to balance career with faith, family, fun, and fraternity, but do not end there. The availability of our priest chaplain, Fr. Daniel Brandenburg LC and the brotherhood we share with like-minded business and cultural leaders will expand your leadership capacity. Lumen will also help you become more aware of the talents you have received and to leave the legacy in this world that God has in mind for you. Your spouse and your children receive benefits both directly and indirectly, especially from a better you. Speak with a current member or attend one of our upcoming events to test for yourself what Lumen as to offer.
